Description
After working on multiple game projects, I wanted to create a tactical multiplayer shooter that
allows players of different skill groups to have fun together.
In games like CS:GO, friends from a lower skill group are bound to have a frustrating time as they face too strong opponents. Instead, my game idea included other tasks than just
shooting, such as gathering resources, solving puzzles
and constructing defenses on a large map.
While I got the project to a state where I could invite friends to hop on a server with me and shoot each other, the game never went much further than a simple deathmatch mode. This is because I
struggled with creating the large amount of artwork and models needed for a project of this scale on my own. Realistically speaking, this project would have taken 5+ years to complete. The software used in this project included
the Unity Engine, Blender and Photoshop. Because the game did not get very far, I did not name it. Instead it is forever referred to as ProjectTwo, ProjectOne being
Lungo.
